A step up from the typical New York deli, Organique provides all organic produce and meats at only a dollar or two more than other delis in the area. This is a wonderful place to stop in for a quick bite or a to-go lunch. Just a block from Madison Square Park, you can order an organic sandwich and take it to the park to enjoy!

Josie’s is a perfect option for lunch or dinner if you are looking for a healthy, neighborhood eatery. While the atmosphere can be slightly loud, the energy in Josie’s is ideal for a lively lunch of butternut squash soup or a seared tuna burger with friends!
Blue Dog Café

155 West 56th Street
Blue Dog Café is a true health food paradise. With two locations, one in Chelsea and the other in Midtown, you can easily find your way to either from the Javits Center. Stop in for a quick snack, a fresh pressed juice or a baked good. If you have more time, sit down for an organic salad or sandwich.
18 E 23rd Street
Bonobo’s is a raw café in the heart of Manhattan’s Flatiron District where you can order anything from a raw lasagna of fresh vegetables layered with nut pate and tomato sauce to a made-to-order salad. Make sure you check out their fresh pressed juice bar as well!
460 Amsterdam Avenue
Another Upper West Side gem, Peacefood Café is quickly becoming a popular neighborhood coffee shop and café. You will find an incredible assortment of vegan sandwiches, pizzas and baked goods as well as several vegan and raw side dishes. It is conveniently located within blocks of Central Park and the Natural History Museum, so make sure you stop in Peacefood Café to fuel your Upper West Side sightseeing!

Purume is a wonderful, local, organic Japanese restaurant in the heart of Greenwich Village. Choose from a variety of handmade sushi, noodle dishes, tempura and more. Then, wash it all down with a glass of Organic wine! They also have a great lunch box menu that will give you a nice sampling of the menu for a very reasonable price.
