You had me at hello!

Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and Aussie transplant Marla Bozic talks about finding her calling and working with busy parents to help manage their family’s nutrition and health.

What were you doing before Integrative Nutrition?

After a successful career in marketing for a Fortune 500 company, I turned to freelance marketing when I had young children. My first contract required too many hours, the next contract not enough. I was struggling to find the right balance of income, suitable hours and stimulation.

What led you to explore Integrative Nutrition’s program?

One day I called a friend when I was feeling down after one of those contracts didn’t work out. I had lost a bit of money and my mojo. This wise friend’s reply was straight out of the Law of Attraction: Make a list of the things that interest you and have faith. Three days later she emailed me info on Integrative Nutrition. In the words of Renee Zellweger in Jerry Maguire: You had me at hello!

"To say my life has changed dramatically sounds cliché, but I found my calling. My confidence has soared. I am at peace. I live my life authentically. I get to put into action what I have always known intuitively, but now have the structure and the voice to do so."

What happened since you enrolled in Integrative Nutrition’s program?

My caffeine highs and lows are gone. I no longer sneak into a cigarette shop, hiding myself from others. My diet has become primarily plant-based. I feel vibrant. To say my life has changed dramatically sounds cliché, but I found my calling. My confidence has soared. I am at peace. I live my life authentically. I get to put into action what I have always known intuitively, but now have the structure and the voice to do so.

What did you learn at Integrative Nutrition?

Everything that I was hoping to learn when I pursued an R.D. degree 20 years ago but didn’t.

What do you love about the school?

Quite simply, the holistic approach and the ability to tailor the program so that it is authentically me.

How has studying with an international Health Coach Training Program benefited you?

I live in Australia, so having the credibility and resources available for me here is AMAZING.

Is there a need for Health Coaches in your area of the world?

Yes! I have lived in Australia for 13 years (I’m originally from NYC) and have found that, in some cases, we are 10-15 years behind in lifestyle trends (not always a bad thing). Sadly Aussies are following the trend in America with higher rates of obesity and diabetes than ever before.

What do you love about your work?

I love that I am empowering my clients, and creating a life as it suits me at the same time. Win-win!
